In 1975 he joined the department of materials engineering at Technion. In 1981–1983 he was on Sabbatical at Johns Hopkins University, where he studied rapidly solidified aluminum transition metal alloys, in a joint program with NBS. No to violence against women!

Hi readers!

Tomorrow, on 25th November is a very important day in the world. This day is very very important because is the day: No to violence against women! This is a very important catchphrase to women and to the whole world. This is the catchphrase:

Violence against women can be addressed through a fundamental rights lens. It is a violation of human dignity and, in its worst form, it violates the right to life. It is also an extreme expression of inequality on the ground of sex. Violence against women exists in very society, and encompasses different forms of physical, sexual and psychological abuse. However, despite its scale and social impact, it remains largely under-reported  and relatively under-researched in key areas. This report is based on findings  from FRA's survey of 42,000 women. It presents Eu-wide data for the first time on the extent, nature consequences of violence against women in all 28 Member States of the EU.

Global Warming! The big problem!

Hello readers!

I am going to talk about nature, exactly about global warning. As we know the global warming is a very big problem for our world, because the poles are disappearing. Global warming is the observed century-scale rise in the average temperature of Earth's climate system.Since 1971, 90% of the increased energy has been stored in the oceans.(Wikipedia). In my opinion, we have to put a solution before it is too late.

One of the consequences of the global warming if we don´t  put any solution can be the disappearance of a lot of towns. Other of the consequences of global warning is the weather is  the very high temperatures. This is a graphic where we can see the consequences of global warning on the weather:

Now, we are going to concentrate in causes of global warning.Global warming is primarily a problem of too much carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere—which acts as a blanket, trapping heat and warming the planet. As we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil and natural gas for energy or cut down and burn forests to create pastures and plantations, carbon accumulates and overloads our atmosphere. Certain waste management and agricultural practices aggravate the problem by releasing other potent global warming gases, such as methane and nitrous oxide. See the pie chart for a breakdown of heat-trapping global warming emissions by economic sector. (climatehotmap.org) In this page you can find a lot of information about causes of global warning. In my opinion our world is creating this causes and we have to stop this. This is a video explaining about cause of global warning:

As a conclusion, in  my opinion is that we can do something to prevent global  warming. We have to put a solution before it is too late.

SEE YOU!
